Background

Aruba had technology that was fast yet comparable to other vendors. They wanted to create some one-off pieces to address some physical space limitations.

Our Challenge

We wanted to create a branded system that would be uniquely identifiable to regular consumer customers without their trademark and industry wide, smoke detector look. Supporting material needed to explain why their current designs were limiting, looking at their customer personas, and creating the story for why our solutions would be the right direction.

We completed a cohesive portfolio strengthening their brand equity and establishing a communication strategy which led to a $3B acquisition by Hewlett Packard and making Aruba a best-in-class solution.

 This ultra portable was used for road warriors to safely connect with the organization. Quick set up, desktop mounting with space provisions, and customized ventilation paths helped push this first of a kind configuration to market.

200 Series Gigabit WiFi

The 200 Series was the foundation to align the needs of remote offices and workers. By helping Aruba view their B2B workers as consumers, it allowed us to properly build their product presence.

 Our approach was multi-faceted and outcome driven. We led research and interviews to identify environment trends to establish Aruba's healthcare, hospitality, and retail offerings. We crafted a design strategy around ubiquitous computing, were the primary advocates of improving user interaction, and designed the language for multiple generations of products.
