HP wanted to unify their products around a conceptual theme and get manufacturable design solutions.
Our Challenge
We were tasked with making a gestural design manufacturable. The object was to keep the design intent and improve it for all stakeholders.
In collaboration with the team at LUNAR and HP, we developed the base language for the entire line of consumer and enterprise displays in 2014.
Combining flexibility and elegance, we honed in to make the image the core focus of the Pavilion LED IPS displays. Elements were reduced for simplicity, directness, yet nuanced for approachability and design.
With the well-received response to the consumer design, it was adapted for enterprise applications. Multiple engineering configurations were designed to work alongside each other, with tiered design details to unify the product platform.
